The throw-in from Christer Granberg in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Drøbak Frogn IL's Glenn Aaberg. If Gilberto Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Benjamin Wang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Wang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arild Friestad having to make a save. After 26 minutes, Morten Kalstad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hammeren and the Drøbak Frogn IL players grew even worse after the yellow card. 26 minutes into the game, one of Hammeren:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lukas Flaten shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 30th minute, Benjamin Wang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Drøbak Frogn IL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 39thth minute of the game Gilberto Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hammeren's Arild Friestad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Drøbak Frogn IL getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lukas Flaten hit a great ball. Ole-Gunnar Flaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eilif Marcussen, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eilif Marcussen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Wang kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Hammeren booed when Drøbak Frogn IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole-Martin Grøndahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ørjan Tverberg came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Hammeren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ørjan Tverberg couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Hammeren's Ørjan Tverberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ole-Gunnar Flaa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Benjamin Wang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Benjamin Wang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arild Friestad. Hammeren's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Wang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Gilberto Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ole-Martin Grøndahl charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ole-Martin Grøndahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Drøbak Frogn IL got a freekick which was hit by Ole-Martin Grøndahl. Drøbak Frogn IL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
