A collision led to Drøbak Frogn IL getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gilberto Goiano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Drøbak Frogn IL's Mons Endresen got a free kick in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Drøbak Frogn IL's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Iversen came free, but Ole-Gunnar Flaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ole-Gunnar Flaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Risvik, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Drøbak Frogn IL's Ole-Gunnar Flaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Lassen in the 15th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Liverpool's goalkeeper Martin Granly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Wang. Gilberto Goiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Granly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Odin Grønås charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Odin Grønås the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Odin Grønås kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Lukas Flaten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drøbak Frogn IL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Flaten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henning Lønne charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henning Lønne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute of the match Brede Håheim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ole-Gunnar Flaa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benjamin Wang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Wang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Martin Granly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Goiano in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Goiano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Chris Systad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole-Gunnar Flaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Liverpool defense, Mons Endresen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Granly. The Liverpool fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Granly should have stopped the shot. Christer Risvik's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ole-Gunnar Flaa firmly grabbed it by the left post. 60 minutes into the match, Drøbak Frogn IL's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Iversen came free, but Ole-Gunnar Flaa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Benjamin Wang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liverpool's Martin Granly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Ole-Gunnar Flaa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 67th minute Henning Lassen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole-Gunnar Flaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Benjamin Wang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drøbak Frogn IL's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Wang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Granly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henning Lassen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ole-Gunnar Flaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Risvik got free with Ole-Gunnar Flaa in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
