Jimmy Bryhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Corneliussen having to interfere. Ormavik IF's David Corneliussen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Ormavik IF from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Nils Marstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jimmy Bryhn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Corneliussen having to make a save. David Corneliussen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Bryhn in the 60th minute of the match. Kim Korsnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Aleksander Lian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ormavik IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 76 minutes of play, Ekeberg's Nils Marstein made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Corneliussen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nils Marstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frode Rystad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Corneliussen having to interfere. David Corneliussen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Marstein in the 88th minute of the match. Ormavik IF's Kim Korsnes got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 minutes, Adam Moltu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekeberg and the Ormavik IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Ekeberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Moltu to maneuver through the defense.
