Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ole-Gunnar Owren started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steffen Andorsen during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute Tor-Henrik Ustad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Wik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bjørn Heistad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th play minute Mathias Ramfjord came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Abraham Heistad. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With an all-out effort, Kalstad's Paul Wik threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bjørn Heistad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kalstad's Abraham Heistad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole-Gunnar Owren in the 55th minute of play. Paul Wik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bjørn Heistad, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Mathias Ramfjord managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hegstad IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Ramfjord was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mathias Ramfjord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Heistad having to interfere. Mathias Ramfjord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hegstad IF's Ole-Gunnar Owren got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Wik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjørn Heistad in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hegstad IF's goalkeeper Paul Wik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oscar Bue kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Erling Raaen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abraham Heistad. Kalstad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mathias Ramfjord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
