Finn Rovik's late challenge caught a Porto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Finn Rovik helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Höivaag getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Finn Rovik hit a great ball. Rune Nordstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Engevik having to interfere. Egil Reppen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gjøran Gregersen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gjøran Gregersen in the 44th minute of play forced Höivaag's goalkeeper Tore Willumsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Höivaag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egil Reppen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ingvar Arntsen charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingvar Arntsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ingvar Arntsen hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Samuel Welle's late challenge caught a Porto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tore Willumsen didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Porto's Honorio Hodei shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Höivaag's Egil Reppen got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rune Nordstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Höivaag failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
