After 7 minutes, Stig-Inge Ryland made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mørkedal BK's Richard Rognstad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Christoffer Gjerløw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Rognstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Inge Ryland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19thth minute of the game Stig-Inge Ryland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mørkedal BK's Richard Rognstad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peder Sandbakken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Richard Rognstad was a little too slow when Stig-Inge Ryland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Øystein Jentoft showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Brandvik in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Småland BF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Magnus Mæland hit a great ball. Øystein Jentoft stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christoffer Gjerløw's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Max Brandvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Øystein Jentoft saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Granmo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Stig-Inge Ryland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Espen Gravdal hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Mørkedal BK's Richard Rognstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Inge Ryland in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Inge Ryland in the 58th minute of play forced Mørkedal BK's goalkeeper Richard Rognstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mørkedal BK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Christoffer Myrdal hit a great ball. Richard Rognstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Inge Ryland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Sjur Kvalsvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Westad kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to Småland BF getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Magnus Mæland hit a great ball. Småland BF's Øystein Jentoft proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Småland BF from getting a goal against them. Max Brandvik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christoffer Gjerløw came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mørkedal BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christoffer Gjerløw couldn't finish the play. If Christoffer Gjerløw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Christoffer Gjerløw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruben Holtet charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Holtet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mørkedal BK booed when Småland BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Holtet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute of the match Jostein Wilberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Øystein Jentoft showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Max Brandvik might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Øystein Jentoft. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Max Brandvik ran back to his position shaking his head. The Småland BF support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
