Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jan-Kenneth Steinsvik kicked off to start the match. Kim-André Grinde who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of John-Edvin Furre when he managed to save the team from getting behind. John-Edvin Furre didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Bertel Storsveen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John-Edvin Furre having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Kristen Silseth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sundset Isminov F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 32nd match minute, Sundset Isminov F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Gunnes to maneuver through the defense. Kim-André Grinde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sundset Isminov F.C booed when Strand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. August Berland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Kenneth Steinsvik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredrik Bergo having to make a save. Kristen Silseth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Strand's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Kenneth Steinsvik came free, but Fredrik Bergo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertel Storsveen was the one to do the kick off. John-Edvin Furre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertel Storsveen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John-Edvin Furre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertel Storsveen in the 59th minute of play. Sundset Isminov F.C's John-Edvin Furre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim-André Grinde in the 60th minute of play. After 62 minutes Sundset Isminov F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hauk Sørnes who took care of the corner kick. Kim-André Grinde took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John-Edvin Furre. John-Edvin Furre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 73 played minutes Strand got a freekick which was hit by Martin Nysted. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim-André Grinde in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John-Edvin Furre saved Sundset Isminov F.C from getting behind. If Ulf-Hendrik Bakker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Strand's Kim-André Grinde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John-Edvin Furre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Jan-Kenneth Steinsvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kim-André Grinde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Strand's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
