An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Erland in the 10th minute of play forced Kvarrsnes BK's goalkeeper Trond Nordås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ringside FC defense, Dennis Høyer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Arne Taraldsen. The Ringside FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Arne Taraldsen should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute Åsmund Løvstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trond Nordås saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ringside FC's Nils-Arne Taraldsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Sørdal in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Ulf-Hendrik Ekeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes, Dennis Høyer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kvarrsnes BK and the Ringside FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Kvarrsnes BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Høyer to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kvarrsnes BK's goalkeeper Trond Nordås, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Reidar Lima in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ringside FC's Åsmund Løvstad. 30 minutes into the match, Daniel Skarbø notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kvarrsnes BK's Trond Nordås. Trond Nordås was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Trond Nordås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf-Hendrik Ekeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trond Nordås didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnstein Gjengedal went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magne Leira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ulf-Hendrik Ekeli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ringside FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Nils-Arne Taraldsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Høyer in the 76th minute of the match. Daniel Skarbø's late challenge caught a Kvarrsnes BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Skarbø helped the player get up and apologised. Nils-Arne Taraldsen made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Peder Øglænd sent off a good shot on target. Trygve Strand made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Magne Leira.
