The supporters of Bleikvasslia IF booed when Fåneshavn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isak Mjøen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roald Erstad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sondre Mikkelborg. Fåneshavn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sondre Mikkelborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halvard Andreassen in the 6th minute of the match. If Herman Morland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bleikvasslia IF's Halvard Andreassen in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Bleikvasslia IF's Roald Erstad got a free kick in the 17th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Fåneshavn's goal looked a bit too open when Halvard Andreassen came free, but Sondre Mikkelborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nikolai Selnes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sondre Mikkelborg was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Bleikvasslia IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Halvard Andreassen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sondre Mikkelborg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thor Uthaug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Halvard Andreassen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thor Uthaug recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Halvard Andreassen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sondre Mikkelborg having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Fåneshavn's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nikolai Selnes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 62ndth minute of the game Halvard Andreassen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fåneshavn's Sondre Mikkelborg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 64 minutes, Herman Morland made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bleikvasslia IF's Torkel Eikemo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Morland in the 68th minute of play forced Bleikvasslia IF's goalkeeper Torkel Eikemo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fåneshavn's Sondre Mikkelborg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Fåneshavn from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Fåneshavn's goalkeeper Sondre Mikkelborg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikolai Selnes. Sondre Mikkelborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halvard Andreassen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Thor Uthaug got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Sondre Mikkelborg managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Bleikvasslia IF's Nikolai Selnes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 96 in the game by Nikolai Selnes from a close distance when the talented Sondre Mikkelborg managed to make a qualified save. Fåneshavn's players were relieved. Bleikvasslia IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
