Kristian Foss, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Roger Leine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kenneth Tharaldsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Nistad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Moseng having to interfere. The supporters of HeroinbesLaget booed when Ravelseid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Klæboe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brede Weberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Kenneth Tharaldsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markus Moseng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Nistad, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Roger Leine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Roger Leine kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kenneth Tharaldsen. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Markus Moseng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Klæboe in the 37th minute of play. HeroinbesLaget's Markus Moseng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Klæboe in the 40th minute of play. Roger Leine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Leine to make the kick off. Brede Weberg took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth Tharaldsen. Kenneth Tharaldsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Martin Nistad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Martin Nistad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ravelseid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Nistad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 minutes, Aslak Vigdal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HeroinbesLaget and the Ravelseid players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Nistad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Moseng having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Kristian Olden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Nordvik during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, HeroinbesLaget's Anders Nordvik got a free kick in the 76th minute. HeroinbesLaget's Markus Moseng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Klæboe in the 77th minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Truls Sandbæk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HeroinbesLaget's supporters crossed their fingers, but Truls Sandbæk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Leine struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Kenneth Tharaldsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HeroinbesLaget. The supporters of HeroinbesLaget booed when Ravelseid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. August Log didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markus Moseng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Klæboe, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Martin Nistad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Moseng having to interfere. HeroinbesLaget's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
