With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Gjertsen in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Văduvescu saved Austerheim from getting behind. Austerheim's Torbjørn Ulven got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Jostein Dahlstrøm in the 13th minute of the match. With his leg Thomas Lundgren managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Austerheim's Ruben Karlsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 21 played minutes WARSAINTS got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Eidissen. Sturle Eie hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Torbjørn Ulven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WARSAINTS's Thomas Lundgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 29 played minutes WARSAINTS got a freekick which was hit by Karsten Øvereng. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Zakariassen during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrik Gjertsen in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Văduvescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elias Dyrhaug hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The long shot by Trygve Jones in the 46th minute really tested Thomas Lundgren's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Patrik Gjertsen made the kick off in the second half. Thomas Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Karlsen in the 53rd minute of play. Eivind Sletten made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ruben Karlsen immediately put the ball in play. Ruben Karlsen scored 1-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Lundgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicholas Eidissen kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Austerheim's Ant Eryildiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Lundgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Thomas Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Karlsen in the 74th minute of the match. WARSAINTS's Thomas Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Karlsen in the 76th minute of play. Patrik Gjertsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes WARSAINTS got a freekick which was hit by Karsten Øvereng. Thomas Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjørn Ulven in the 81st minute of play. Thomas Lundgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruben Karlsen went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Karlsen in the 94th minute of play forced WARSAINTS's goalkeeper Thomas Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Austerheim fans cheered their team off the field, for while WARSAINTS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
