Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leon Sviland came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Latch's Lukas Brudvik. But to his dismay, Lukas Brudvik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 22 minutes, Lukas Brudvik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Latch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Brudvik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Sokndal defense, Lukas Brudvik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Sviland. The Sokndal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Sviland should have stopped the shot. If Morten Landsverk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If John-Edvin Hustoft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, John-Edvin Hustoft got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Svend Kaland took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Sviland. Leon Sviland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Morten Landsverk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Latch's Morten Landsverk in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sokndal's goalie prevented a goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Søren Friis made a kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fredrik Værnes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute Søren Friis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Værnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ola Engenes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Morten Landsverk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Leon Sviland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Svend Kaland suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Latch's Olaf Mehl was substituted for Svend Kaland. In the 70th match minute, Sokndal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Lid to maneuver through the defense. John-Edvin Hustoft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Sviland having to interfere. The supporters of Sokndal booed when Latch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kåre Årdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Værnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Øvstedal in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Olaf Mehl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Latch fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Latch's John-Edvin Hustoft looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Sokndal booed when Latch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Brudvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morten Landsverk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sokndal's Leon Sviland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Sokndal from getting a goal against them. When Lukas Brudvik came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Latch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukas Brudvik couldn't finish the play. If Lukas Brudvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olaf Mehl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Leon Sviland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Latch could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sokndal throughout the match.
