Fredrik Værnes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fredrik Værnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigve Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Morten Landsverk took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Eivind Solli to make any attempt to save it. Morten Landsverks short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Eivind Solli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd match minute, Latch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Brudvik to maneuver through the defense. Fredrik Værnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Nergaard in the 23rd minute of play. Svend Kaland kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Svend Kaland's late challenge caught a Braemdsund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Svend Kaland helped the player get up and apologised. Fredrik Værnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Nergaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Tobias Worren took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredrik Værnes. Fredrik Værnes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Fredrik Værnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Worren in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Nergaard in the 34th minute of play forced Latch's goalkeeper Fredrik Værnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Svend Kaland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eivind Solli was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronny Stensby was the one to do the kick off. Mikael Nergaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredrik Værnes having to make a save. The supporters of Latch booed when Braemdsund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigve Holt didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Morten Landsverk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Latch defense, Mikael Nergaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fredrik Værnes. The Latch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredrik Værnes should have stopped the shot. Latch's attack was well implemented in the 86th minute, but when Lukas Brudvik was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Svend Kaland came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Latch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Svend Kaland couldn't finish the play. Severin Bjorøy hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Latch's Morten Landsverk got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John-Edvin Hustoft in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eivind Solli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Latch's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
