Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Søren Friis started the match with the kick off. Kristoffer Braathen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Leon Sviland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Øvstedal struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Hans-Kristian Vikane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sokndal. When Søren Friis came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Sokndal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Søren Friis couldn't finish the play. If Søren Friis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ola Bakkehaug fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Råna BF's protests and gave Ola Bakkehaug a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Råna BF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ola Bakkehaug hit a great ball. Hans-Kristian Vikane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christer Øvstedal in the 28th minute. If Søren Friis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Råna BF's Hans-Kristian Vikane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Råna BF from getting a goal against them. Sokndal's Søren Friis got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Råna BF's Tord Brænden got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Skretting kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Råna BF's Kristoffer Braathen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Sviland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tord Brænden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Arvid Helstad made a precise shot to the right of Hans-Kristian Vikane. Råna BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Sokndal's Emanuel Skretting got a free kick in the 59th minute. Kristoffer Braathen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Tord Brænden came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Råna BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tord Brænden couldn't finish the play. After 63 played minutes Råna BF got a freekick which was hit by Arnstein Torsvik. Christer Øvstedal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Søren Friis made a precise shot to the right of Hans-Kristian Vikane. Råna BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Hans-Kristian Vikane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Søren Friis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Øvstedal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Søren Friis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sokndal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Søren Friis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Råna BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Berg to maneuver through the defense. Kristoffer Braathen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Sviland having to make a save.
