Christian Brekke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Casper Thomassen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Christer Bech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stølsang FK's Runar Hanstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morten Englund in the 11th minute of play. Runar Hanstad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesper Naas went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Frode Høye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjørnar Løkkeberg in the 19th minute of play forced Hvitstein FF's goalkeeper Casper Thomassen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 23 in the game by Christian Brekke from a close distance when the talented Casper Thomassen managed to make a qualified save. Hvitstein FF's players were relieved. Morten Englund struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Runar Hanstad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hvitstein FF. The audience was convinced that Frode Høye's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Runar Hanstad was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 31st match minute, Hvitstein FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesper Naas to maneuver through the defense. Christian Brekke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Casper Thomassen made a huge save. Runar Hanstad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Morten Englund went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Hvitstein FF's Morten Englund got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Morten Englund struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Runar Hanstad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hvitstein FF. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Frode Høye made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Jesper Naas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hvitstein FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesper Naas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Thodoris Rikkas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bastian Rosenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Hvitstein FF's goal looked a bit too open when Bjørnar Løkkeberg came free, but Casper Thomassen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Brekke hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Casper Thomassen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Brekke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bjørnar Løkkeberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bastian Rosenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Hvitstein FF's Morten Englund got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Hvitstein FF getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ståle Systad hit a great ball. In the 90th minute of the match Gabriel Idland shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Thomassen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute Christer Bech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Runar Hanstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Stølsang FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hvitstein FF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
