Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kenneth Bjørnå made the kick off and thus started the match. Kenneth Bjørnå received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sigurd Nystuen came out and tried to block the shot, but Kenneth Bjørnå slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertel Samuelsen in the 6th minute of play forced Beyene FC's goalkeeper Sigurd Nystuen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, Beyene FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagfinn Størseth to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute of the match Olav Olberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sigurd Nystuen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sture Bjørkli got free with Sigurd Nystuen in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute Tim Thøgersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Kristiansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erland Throndsen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kenneth Kristiansen. FC Spurvene's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Christian Dramstad shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kenneth Kristiansen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kenneth Kristiansen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim Thøgersen's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Tim Thøgersen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Kenneth Bjørnå shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigurd Nystuen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tim Thøgersen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Kristiansen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Tim Thøgersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Kristiansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of FC Spurvene:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Beyene FC:s goal. Kenneth Kristiansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagfinn Størseth in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Thøgersen to make the kick off. FC Spurvene's Kenneth Kristiansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morten Soltveit in the 53rd minute of play. Kenneth Kristiansen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Erland Throndsen. Beyene FC's Sigurd Nystuen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Bjørnå in the 60th minute of play. Kenneth Kristiansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Soltveit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Morten Soltveit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morten Soltveit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christian Halsen fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Spurvene's protests and gave Christian Halsen a yellow card for diving instead. Tim Thøgersen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beyene FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
