Lars-Erik Larsen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ankenes BK booed when Kåsmolia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Larsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Snorre Løvli made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Hans Søderholm sent off a good shot on target. With a left leg Jarle Brenna saved Ankenes BK from getting behind. Hans Søderholm came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Snorre Løvli could save by the left post. Hauk Bjørklund charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hauk Bjørklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 40 minutes, Nicholas Takle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankenes BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicholas Takle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Vik in the 44th minute of play forced Ankenes BK's goalkeeper Jarle Brenna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Snorre Løvli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

In the 52nd match minute, Ankenes BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Takle to maneuver through the defense. Snorre Løvli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Søderholm in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Hans-Martin Reite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Kåsmolia's Henrik Vangen got a free kick in the 58th minute. Snorre Løvli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Søderholm's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. If Fredrik Flem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Vik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarle Brenna having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kåsmolia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ankenes BK.
