Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lars-Erik Svensen started the match with the kick off. Ståle Bjørgum scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Øyvind Gunnerød, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 14 minutes, Rikard Stokkenes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nykland BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rikard Stokkenes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nykland BK's Ståle Bjørgum in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Nykland BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Fred Haagensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Svensen in the 27th minute of the match. Rikard Stokkenes kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Lars-Erik Svensen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fred Haagensen. The goal made the score 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Einar Bore in the 38th minute of play forced Nykland BK's goalkeeper Fred Haagensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ståle Bjørgum stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ståle Bjørgum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Ståle Bjørgum took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Øyvind Gunnerød to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Rikard Stokkenes put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Øyvind Gunnerød. After a rather tough play, Nykland BK's Theodor Baltzersen got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Lars-Erik Svensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rikard Stokkenes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Øyvind Gunnerød having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Lars-Erik Svensen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birk Wulff hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Rikard Stokkenes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Øyvind Gunnerød having to make a save.
