An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Liberg in the 4th minute of play forced Simpa BK's goalkeeper Øyvind Gunnerød to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurits Reinertsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Øyvind Gunnerød tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Simpa BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Glenn Liberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Øyvind Sætran kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Rune Heldal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Cai Einvik was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. Cai Einvik hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Laurits Reinertsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rune Heldal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simpa BK's Sondre Anfinsen got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Rune Heldal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Otterlei having to interfere. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Simpa BK's goalkeeper Øyvind Gunnerød, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Glenn Liberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Øyvind Gunnerød having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Laurits Reinertsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drågåset's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurits Reinertsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Glenn Liberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Otterlei was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Rune Heldal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rune Heldal really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Simpa BK's Rune Heldal got a free kick in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glenn Liberg in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Øyvind Gunnerød saved Simpa BK from getting behind. Laurits Reinertsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Øyvind Gunnerød tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Glenn Liberg made a precise shot to the right of Øyvind Gunnerød. Simpa BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 82 minutes, Jon-Arne Ekeland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drågåset and the Simpa BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Drågåset got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Arne Ekeland. Øyvind Gunnerød showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glenn Liberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Laurits Reinertsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Drågåset's Glenn Liberg got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurits Reinertsen in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Øyvind Gunnerød prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 94 played minutes, Drågåset's Markus Bakkelund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Øyvind Gunnerød came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Drågåset reached it. If Laurits Reinertsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Drågåset players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
