With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Ramstad in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ravnås saved Laukslet BK from getting behind. Trondheim FC's Ole-Petter Nærø proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Trondheim FC from getting a goal against them. Ole-Petter Nærø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Kolbjørnsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ole-Petter Nærø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Andreassen in the 23rd minute. 33 minutes into the game, Aleksander Kolbjørnsen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ole-Petter Nærø. Jonathan Ravnås stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrik Ramstad's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Trondheim FC's Tage Haarstad got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Aleksander Kolbjørnsen made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Trondheim FC's Patrik Ramstad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ravnås narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Trondheim FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
