In the 4th minute Martin Kirkhus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steinar Nesje saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Iver Brovold successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Christian Tangstad charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Tangstad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot 8 in the game by Bjørn Marcussen from a close distance when the talented Iver Brovold managed to make a qualified save. Horv's players were relieved. Elias Aleksandersen kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Jan-Ivar Bui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Iver Brovold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Kirkhus in the 17th minute of play forced Gallia FC's goalkeeper Steinar Nesje to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Ivar Bui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Bjørn Marcussen could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Iver Brovold however easily saved by the left post. Iver Brovold was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan-Ivar Bui showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. If Espen Nordberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Horv's goalkeeper Iver Brovold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bjørn Marcussen. Bernt Skår hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Bjørn Marcussen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Ivar Bui's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Iver Brovold skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Kristiansen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Kirkhus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Steinar Nesje when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jan-Ivar Bui struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Iver Brovold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gallia FC. After a rather tough play, Horv's Fredrik Risberg got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Bjørn Marcussen came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Gallia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bjørn Marcussen couldn't finish the play. After having played for 61 minutes, Bjørn Marcussen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bjørn Marcussen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Ivar Bui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Iver Brovold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Bjørn Marcussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iver Brovold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iver Brovold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ivar Bui in the 68th minute of the match. Steinar Nesje stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Kristiansen's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Jan-Ivar Bui scored 2-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iver Brovold, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan-Ivar Bui kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Bjørn Marcussen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredrik Risberg's late challenge caught a Gallia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Risberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Horv's Fredrik Risberg got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, Lars-Erik Bratlie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Ivar Bui struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Iver Brovold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gallia FC. If Even Kårstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Gallia FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
