Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gunnar Løset made the kick off which started today's match. Fredrik Eide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor-Ivar Bakkelund in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Tor-Ivar Bakkelund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tor-Ivar Bakkelund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredrik Eide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Gunnar Løset fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fredrik Aalberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Ole-Kristian Arntsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kjerkhus's Fredrik Eide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Leidland in the 25th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Kjerkhus's Fredrik Aalberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ole-Kristian Arntsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot by Fred Heggem from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Ole-Kristian Arntsen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hellervik BK's Tor-Ivar Bakkelund got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Leidland in the 41st minute of play forced Kjerkhus's goalkeeper Fredrik Eide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjerkhus's Fredrik Eide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Leidland in the 45th minute of play. Ole-Kristian Arntsen was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Gunnar Løset capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gunnar Løset really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ove Leidland made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Ove Leidland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Eide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gunnar Løset came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Kjerkhus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Løset couldn't finish the play. After having played for 67 minutes, Tor-Ivar Bakkelund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hellervik BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor-Ivar Bakkelund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ove Leidland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Fredrik Eide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Fred Heggem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Hellervik BK's Finn Sekse tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Kjerkhus getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jan-Ivar Mogstad hit a great ball. Tor-Ivar Bakkelund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Eide having to interfere. Kristian Flåten charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristian Flåten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Kjerkhus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Flåten to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tor-Ivar Bakkelund got free with Fredrik Eide in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thor Skjønhaug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fredrik Eide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hellervik BK's Thor Skjønhaug got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, Hellervik BK's Jørn Tonning got a free kick in the 94th minute. Hellervik BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
