The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ove Leidland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, Hellervik BK's Finn Sekse shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kim Nystad came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hellervik BK reached it. After having played for 55 minutes, Sondre Thøgersen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utgaard BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sondre Thøgersen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Ove Leidland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kim Nystad. Utgaard BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ove Leidland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ove Leidland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Kim Nystad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sondre Thøgersen might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ole-Kristian Arntsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sondre Thøgersen ran back to his position shaking his head. After 88 minutes, Jørn Tonning mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hellervik BK and the Utgaard BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jørn Tonning kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match.
