Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Melvold BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Christoffer Nystrøm scored to the left of an out of position Lars Vestre, making the score, 1-0. Martin Sandli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melvold BK's Jan-Ivar Engenes got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Håvard Jonassen came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Træff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håvard Jonassen couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Christoffer Nystrøm put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lars Vestre. Anders Nordås's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Lars Vestre skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 27 played minutes Melvold BK got a freekick which was hit by Vegard Kleiven. Tor Mæhle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Sandli in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Jan-Ivar Engenes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christoffer Nystrøm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lars Vestre came out and tried to block the shot, but Christoffer Nystrøm slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 37th minute. Træff's Christoffer Nystrøm got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Melvold BK's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Nystrøm came free, but Lars Vestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Ivar Engenes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Melvold BK's Vegard Kleiven got a free kick in the 51st minute. Anders Nordås recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Vestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oddbjørn Langli in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Melvold BK booed when Træff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oddbjørn Langli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melvold BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gjermund Thomsen in the 63rd minute. The corner ended in Gjermund Thomsen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Træff's Tor Mæhle did a great save. Tor Mæhle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vegard Kleiven, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Christoffer Nystrøm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Vestre having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Jan-Ivar Engenes made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Træff's Tor Mæhle tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lars Vestre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christoffer Nystrøm's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Melvold BK's Jan-Ivar Engenes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tor Mæhle. That made the score 3-2 after 83 minutes of play. Lars Vestre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoffer Nystrøm went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute, Anders Nordås made a precise shot to the right of Lars Vestre. Melvold BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Træff's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
