Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jan-Ivar Engenes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Melvold BK's Jan-Ivar Engenes got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roald Sylte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Melvold BK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Daniel Løvik hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Daniel Løvik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Melvold BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Insipid Corporation the free kick. The supporters of Insipid Corporation booed when Melvold BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Løvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roald Sylte in the 14th minute of play forced Melvold BK's goalkeeper Lars Vestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Melvold BK's zone, Roald Sylte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Vestre came out of the goal and Roald Sylte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Sandli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Sandli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Tore Alnæs made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Melvold BK's Jan-Ivar Engenes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tore Alnæs. Tore Alnæs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Melvold BK's zone, Roald Sylte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Vestre came out of the goal and Roald Sylte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the game, one of Insipid Corporation:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Melvold BK's Gjermund Thomsen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tore Alnæs. Tore Alnæs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Løvik in the 33rd minute. With an all-out effort, Melvold BK's Tore Alnæs threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jan-Ivar Engenes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Melvold BK's Lars Vestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roald Sylte in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roald Sylte was the one to do the kick off. Jan-Ivar Engenes scored 3-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tore Alnæs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Sandli struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Tore Alnæs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melvold BK. 58 minutes into the game, Jan-Ivar Engenes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tore Alnæs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arne Sandbæk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Lars Vestre made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Melvold BK's goal looked a bit too open when Roald Sylte came free, but Lars Vestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Insipid Corporation's zone, Jan-Ivar Engenes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tore Alnæs came out of the goal and Jan-Ivar Engenes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tore Alnæs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Sandli's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Tore Alnæs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ivar Engenes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute of the match Gjermund Thomsen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tore Alnæs skillfully saved the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Insipid Corporation's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Sandli came free, but Tore Alnæs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Sandli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tore Alnæs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Løvik in the 87th minute of play. Arne Sandbæk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Vestre having to interfere. Melvold BK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
