Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Martin Rishaug started the match with the kick off. Nils-Johan Carlsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Hjelm having to interfere. In the 4th minute Erik Storli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Hjelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Röda Raketerna booed when Løning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jo Walderhaug didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lasse Taksdal in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birger Hjelm saved Løning from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Röda Raketerna's Markus Alver got a free kick in the 14th minute. Röda Raketerna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Martin Rishaug scored to the left of an out of position Hans-Erik Strømnes, making the score, 1-0. Birger Hjelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lasse Taksdal in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Röda Raketerna's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Rishaug came free, but Hans-Erik Strømnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Løning's Harald Røberg got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans-Erik Strømnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Rishaug in the 29th minute of the match. Jonathan Fagermo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Birger Hjelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Rishaug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Erik Strømnes having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lasse Taksdal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erik Storli kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Jonathan Fagermo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Röda Raketerna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Fagermo couldn't finish the play. Harald Røberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Hans-Erik Strømnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans-Erik Strømnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rishaug in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Rishaug in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans-Erik Strømnes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68thth minute of the game Harald Røberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Röda Raketerna's Hans-Erik Strømnes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harald Røberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hans-Erik Strømnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lasse Taksdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th match minute, Röda Raketerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torjus Fretheim to maneuver through the defense. Röda Raketerna's Lasse Taksdal was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Martin Rishaug recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Martin Rishaug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Løning's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Rishaug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
