Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jonathan Jordet made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Christoffer Blakstad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rossland BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoffer Blakstad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kenneth Borge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Lars Almaas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rossland BF's Christoffer Blakstad, in the 6th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Rossland BF. If Johannes Seglem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Almaas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Borge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th play minute Johannes Seglem came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Knut Vindenes. 1-0. Mercantile SFK's Jonathan Jordet got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Jordet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Mercantile SFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Borge came free, but Lars Almaas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Mercantile SFK got a freekick which was hit by Tom Sollie. When Kenneth Borge came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Rossland BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenneth Borge couldn't finish the play. Mercantile SFK's Lars Almaas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Blakstad in the 45th minute of play. Kenneth Borge took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lars Almaas. Lars Almaas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christoffer Blakstad made a kick off. Jonathan Jordet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Vindenes having to interfere. Mercantile SFK's Jonathan Jordet got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Knut Vindenes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Jordet in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Jonathan Jordet made a precise shot to the right of Knut Vindenes. Rossland BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a little luck, Mercantile SFK's Lars Almaas got control of the ball when Kenneth Borge tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Kenneth Borge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mercantile SFK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Markus Westlie hit a great ball. When Åsmund Turøy fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mercantile SFK's protests and gave Åsmund Turøy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Mercantile SFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åsmund Turøy to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Asgeir Hegstad sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mercantile SFK's Lars Almaas didn't even have to move. 83 minutes into the match, Johannes Seglem notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Rossland BF's Knut Vindenes. Knut Vindenes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Knut Vindenes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Jordet in the 87th minute of play. Mercantile SFK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rossland BF for a fine match.
