Tormod Ebbesen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Kristiansen in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moelv BF's goalkeeper Tormod Ebbesen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Lønning in the 9th minute of play forced Gissenås BF's goalkeeper Erik Roe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gissenås BF getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Alfred Kirkevold hit a great ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Olaf Kristiansen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gissenås BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olaf Kristiansen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olaf Kristiansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tormod Ebbesen having to interfere. Gissenås BF's Erik Roe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Gissenås BF from getting a goal against them. When Olaf Kristiansen came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Gissenås BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Kristiansen couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olaf Kristiansen in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tormod Ebbesen saved Moelv BF from getting behind. The referee gave Gissenås BF a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Henrik Sneve, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Moelv BF's Tormod Ebbesen. 0-1. Tormod Ebbesen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Kristiansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Christian Pedersen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tormod Ebbesen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Olaf Kristiansen came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Gissenås BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Kristiansen couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilhelm Lønning stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Wilhelm Lønning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Roe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Roe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Lønning in the 57th minute of the match. Moelv BF's Tormod Ebbesen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Kristiansen in the 67th minute of play. Jo Milde charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jo Milde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Moelv BF's Jo Milde got a free kick in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olaf Kristiansen in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tormod Ebbesen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Pedersen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Tormod Ebbesen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Lønning in the 77th minute of play forced Gissenås BF's goalkeeper Erik Roe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tormod Ebbesen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Kristiansen in the 81st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Olaf Kristiansen took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Tormod Ebbesen to make any attempt to save it. After 86 played minutes Gissenås BF got a freekick which was hit by Aksel Kausar. Gissenås BF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
