Inge Børseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Leirpollen BF's Bård Salomonsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inge Børseth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Krenket FK booed when Leirpollen BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Madsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bendik Pettersen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Hans-Martin Lauritsen hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bård Salomonsen in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inge Børseth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Emanuel Berg came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Krenket FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Berg couldn't finish the play. Bård Salomonsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Børseth having to interfere. Einar Molund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leirpollen BF's Otto Eklund got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Bård Salomonsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Børseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Runar Rodal hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Leirpollen BF were awarded a corner. Hans-Martin Lauritsen went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Leirpollen BF's corner Hans-Martin Lauritsen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Inge Børseth quite easily take care of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Berg made a kick off. Emanuel Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bendik Pettersen having to interfere. Otto Eklund hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Runar Rodal kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Einar Molund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inge Børseth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bård Salomonsen's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Austnes during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Inge Børseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bård Salomonsen in the 77th minute of the match. Bård Salomonsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Einar Molund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leirpollen BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Einar Molund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inge Børseth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Leirpollen BF's goalkeeper Bendik Pettersen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Berg. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Leirpollen BF had played much better football throughout.
