Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rikstad BK's Håvard Krog started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Knut Grøtterud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trym Haugnes's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. A collision led to Lysebø getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Åsmund Slyngstad hit a great ball. Ole-Jostein Korneliussen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håvard Krog, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Lysebø's Thomas Hestvik got a free kick in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håvard Krog in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ole-Jostein Korneliussen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Trym Haugnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Aslak Oshaug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole-Jostein Korneliussen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rikstad BK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mikael Rossebø hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aslak Oshaug in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ole-Jostein Korneliussen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ole-Jostein Korneliussen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håvard Krog in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aslak Oshaug in the 34th minute of play forced Lysebø's goalkeeper Ole-Jostein Korneliussen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håvard Krog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole-Jostein Korneliussen having to interfere. When Thomas Hestvik fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lysebø's protests and gave Thomas Hestvik a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 minutes Lysebø's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aksel Skog who took care of the corner kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trym Haugnes was the one to do the kick off. Aslak Oshaug's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Ole-Jostein Korneliussen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Lysebø's Ole-Jostein Korneliussen got control of the ball when Aslak Oshaug tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Aslak Oshaug had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ole-Jostein Korneliussen. Lysebø's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aslak Oshaug was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Øivind Moholt kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Rikstad BK got a corner. Lysebø's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aksel Skog ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rikstad BK's Aksel Skog was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ole-Jostein Korneliussen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lysebø's Ole-Jostein Korneliussen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Lysebø from getting a goal against them. If Aslak Oshaug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rikstad BK's Aslak Oshaug got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aslak Oshaug in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ole-Jostein Korneliussen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aslak Oshaug's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ole-Jostein Korneliussen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Aslak Oshaug might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ole-Jostein Korneliussen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aslak Oshaug ran back to his position shaking his head. Ole-Jostein Korneliussen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håvard Krog in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Rikstad BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Myren to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd play minute Aslak Oshaug came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ole-Jostein Korneliussen. 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rikstad BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
