Sigurd Landmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeppe Astrup in the 3rd minute of the match. When Tore Sangolt fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puppebu FK's protests and gave Tore Sangolt a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 5 minutes, Jeppe Astrup managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team High-Definition's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeppe Astrup was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Puppebu FK's Stefan Melheim got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arild Oen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Puppebu FK's goal looked a bit too open when Jeppe Astrup came free, but Sigurd Landmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harald Kvåle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Amdal in the 15th minute. The supporters of Puppebu FK booed when Team High-Definition was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Bore didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Stefan Melheim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puppebu FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Melheim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harald Kvåle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julius Jonassen kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Espen Svensli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Melheim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harald Kvåle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. If Sebastian Amdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Kenneth Bore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Rolstad, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sebastian Amdal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Harald Kvåle made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Melheim to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Melheim in the 58th minute of play forced Team High-Definition's goalkeeper Harald Kvåle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Bore in the 66th minute of play forced Puppebu FK's goalkeeper Sigurd Landmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tore Sangolt hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A collision led to Puppebu FK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ola Norheim hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Stefan Melheim sped through Team High-Definition's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Harald Kvåle. 76 minutes into the match, Ola Norheim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harald Kvåle. Team High-Definition's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ola Norheim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Puppebu FK's Tore Sangolt got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 92nd minute Jeppe Astrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigurd Landmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Arild Oen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team High-Definition's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arild Oen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Team High-Definition's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
