The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stavanger's attentive Asbjørn Paulsrud managed to snatch the ball when Runar Nyquist made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. In the 9th minute Runar Fosse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Kvåle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Tronstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth Bore, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Tommy Tronstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Bore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenneth Bore kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Espen Svensli made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Audun Bjørgan however managed to control. Audun Bjørgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Tronstad having to interfere. Kenneth Bore hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Harald Kvåle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Runar Fosse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arild Oen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tommy Tronstad made a huge save. Arild Oen struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tommy Tronstad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team High-Definition. Thomas Uthus kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Sleire in the 33rd minute of play forced Team High-Definition's goalkeeper Harald Kvåle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Tøsse kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Espen Svensli got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kenneth Bore. 38 minutes into the match, Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Jeppe Astrup came free, but Tommy Tronstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Arild Oen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Tronstad was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thomas Uthus might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harald Kvåle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Uthus ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeppe Astrup made a kick off. With a little luck, Team High-Definition's Harald Kvåle got control of the ball when Thomas Uthus tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Arne Høvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Thomas Uthus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksander Sleire during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aleksander Sleire kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to Stavanger getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Morten Sjøli hit a great ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Aleksander Sleire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stavanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Sleire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Team High-Definition's zone, Aleksander Sleire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Kvåle came out of the goal and Aleksander Sleire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the game, Thomas Uthus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Harald Kvåle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thomas Uthus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Thomas Uthus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harald Kvåle was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 89 minutes of play, Stavanger's Runar Fosse made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harald Kvåle was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Thomas Uthus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Aleksander Sleire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stavanger played a much better game than Team High-Definition and deserved their victory. The Team High-Definition players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
