Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jarle Aarhus made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 minutes, Marius Østlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Risteigen and the Folkestadgrenda IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Marius Østlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Svein Gjervik made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Sebastian Marvik sent off a good shot on target. Ole-Gunnar Mehus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12thth minute of the game Finn Irgens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Folkestadgrenda IF's Kent Thorkildsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Finn Irgens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kent Thorkildsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Finn Irgens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Risteigen's supporters rose to their feet, but Finn Irgens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Thorkildsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ole-Gunnar Mehus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svein Gjervik having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Risteigen's zone, Sebastian Marvik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Svein Gjervik came out of the goal and Sebastian Marvik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Svein Gjervik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ole-Gunnar Mehus in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st minute, Sturle Helgestad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cent Evju fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Risteigen's protests and gave Cent Evju a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Risteigen getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cent Evju hit a great ball. Folkestadgrenda IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Jarle Aarhus scored to the left of an out of position Kent Thorkildsen, making the score, 0-1. Sturle Helgestad hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Folkestadgrenda IF's Kent Thorkildsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Folkestadgrenda IF from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Marvik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Svein Gjervik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 68 minutes on the clock, Gustav Løset commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 68 minutes into the game, one of Risteigen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Risteigen:s Svein Gjervik showed great skill when he stopped Marius Nyvold:s penalty. Folkestadgrenda IF's Kent Thorkildsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Folkestadgrenda IF from getting a goal against them. Ole-Gunnar Mehus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svein Gjervik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolf Aschim during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rolf Aschim hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Sebastian Marvik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Folkestadgrenda IF's Sebastian Marvik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Svein Gjervik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastian Marvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svein Gjervik having to interfere. Ole-Gunnar Mehus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ole-Gunnar Mehus came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Folkestadgrenda IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ole-Gunnar Mehus couldn't finish the play.
