Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Amund Bolme made the kick off and thus started the match. Svein Høie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brede Hassel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amund Bolme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Grønning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Erling Ensrud made a huge save. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kavåsen FF! Sjur Dyrhaug walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Kavåsen FF's Brede Hassel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amund Bolme in the 19th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Kavåsen FF's goal looked a bit too open when Espen Brunborg came free, but Brede Hassel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Espen Brunborg came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the BK Trond fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Espen Brunborg couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute of the match, Svein Høie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erling Ensrud saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Espen Brunborg in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brede Hassel saved Kavåsen FF from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, BK Trond's goalkeeper Erling Ensrud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Grønning. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Svein Høie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kavåsen FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Svein Høie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erling Ensrud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Espen Brunborg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Brede Hassel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Grønning got free with Erling Ensrud in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Svein Høie made a kick off. When Morten Norheim fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Trond's protests and gave Morten Norheim a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BK Trond getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Morten Norheim hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Eric Grønning's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erling Ensrud was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. When Kavåsen FF's Eric Grønning in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Trond's goalie prevented a goal. In the 62nd minute, Morten Norheim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Grønning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Svein Høie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Grønning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Ensrud having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Kavåsen FF's Svein Høie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erling Ensrud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Espen Brunborg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Trond fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Brede Hassel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amund Bolme in the 84th minute of play. After 91 played minutes BK Trond got a freekick which was hit by Espen Brunborg.
