An unexpectedly hard shot by Jørgen Tyldal in the 6th minute of play forced Bjælle BK's goalkeeper Christian Martinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Jørgen Tyldal lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Christian Martinsen. After 13 played minutes Club Quantum XI got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Stave. Edvard Spolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arild Haugseth in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Club Quantum XI getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Steinar Digernes hit a great ball. Edvard Spolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Hoel, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 19th minute, Bernt Stave hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Quantum XI's Edvard Spolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Hoel in the 21st minute of play. Christian Martinsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jørgen Tyldal's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Quantum XI's zone, Christoffer Hoel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Spolin came out of the goal and Christoffer Hoel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Club Quantum XI booed when Bjælle BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Kruse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frode Hussein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Martinsen having to interfere. Jørgen Tyldal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Martinsen having to make a save. In the 44th minute, Sivert Furre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christoffer Hoel to make the kick off. The supporters of Bjælle BK booed when Club Quantum XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Vika didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Martinsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jørgen Tyldal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Club Quantum XI's Jørgen Tyldal in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Club Quantum XI's Edvard Spolin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Club Quantum XI from getting a goal against them.
