Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Solbu BK's Anders Larsen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Solbu BK got a freekick which was hit by Anders Larsen. Jon Klepp might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cato Moen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jon Klepp ran back to his position shaking his head. Anders Larsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guglielmo Panno having to interfere. After 16th play minutes Jon Klepp shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Cato Moen and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 20th minute, Jon Klepp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carlsberg IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Cato Moen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Klepp, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Carlsberg IF booed when Solbu BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Hegna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Raymond Njærheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Stian Heggelund in the 30th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Cato Moen's left hand side. Gard Egeberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guglielmo Panno having to make a save. Jøran Hjelmeland's late challenge caught a Solbu BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jøran Hjelmeland helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Carlsberg IF getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jøran Hjelmeland hit a great ball. Solbu BK's Bård Gran got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlsberg IF's Guglielmo Panno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bård Gran in the 38th minute of play. Casper Solstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Solbu BK's Anders Larsen got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes Solbu BK got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Solsvik. Jon Klepp got in the 46th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Cato Moen handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 48th minute Casper Solstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cato Moen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Jon Klepp made the kick off in the second half. Anders Larsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Guglielmo Panno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlsberg IF's Guglielmo Panno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Larsen in the 58th minute of play. Bård Gran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guglielmo Panno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Linus Fossnes might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cato Moen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Linus Fossnes ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the match, Jon Klepp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cato Moen. Solbu BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jon Klepp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 72nd minute, Anders Larsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cato Moen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Wille went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Anders Larsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guglielmo Panno having to make a save. In the 81st minute of the match Trond Dehli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guglielmo Panno skillfully saved the ball. Guglielmo Panno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Larsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes, Casper Solstrand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carlsberg IF and the Solbu BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Carlsberg IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Solstrand to maneuver through the defense. Carlsberg IF's Guglielmo Panno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Larsen in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bård Gran in the 91st minute of play forced Carlsberg IF's goalkeeper Guglielmo Panno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guglielmo Panno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Trond Dehli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guglielmo Panno skillfully saved the ball. Carlsberg IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
