Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kjetil Berntsen to make the kick off. Brage Lekven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjetil Berntsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 60th match minute, Saltvikhavnen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Riise to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Åkrehamn IF's Hans Berre in action when he in the 62nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Sivert Oksnes was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. But to his dismay, Vebjørn Martinsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Erling Bakkerud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vebjørn Martinsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Kjetil Berntsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brage Lekven was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
