Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Kulseth in the 5th minute of play forced Veslbu FF's goalkeeper Fredrik Sandøy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joachim Kulseth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Fredrik Sandøy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jon-Egil Solum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ole Melbye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Østberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stølsvigen's zone, Sven Østberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ole Melbye came out of the goal and Sven Østberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Filip Mikkelborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Sørland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veslbu FF's Sven Østberg got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ole Melbye came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Veslbu FF's Max Sørland. But to his dismay, Max Sørland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Veslbu FF's Fredrik Sandøy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Kulseth in the 40th minute of play. Jakob Kjerstad charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jakob Kjerstad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Max Sørland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Stølsvigen's Ole Melbye got control of the ball when Sven Østberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Jon-Egil Solum notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Veslbu FF's Fredrik Sandøy. Fredrik Sandøy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the game, Stølsvigen's Joachim Kulseth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Sandøy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Joachim Kulseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Sandøy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon-Egil Solum, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ole Melbye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Sørland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Stølsvigen booed when Veslbu FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Birkedal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Veslbu FF's Jakob Kjerstad got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Jon-Egil Solum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veslbu FF's Fredrik Sandøy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jon-Egil Solum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Fredrik Sandøy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Jon-Egil Solum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stølsvigen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon-Egil Solum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stølsvigen's Ole Melbye proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Stølsvigen from getting a goal against them. Ole-Einar Skretteberg's late challenge caught a Stølsvigen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ole-Einar Skretteberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Ole-Einar Skretteberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joachim Kulseth struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Fredrik Sandøy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stølsvigen. Jon-Egil Solum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
