FBK Spurs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jens Parveen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Kristian Høyland, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of Sundheim BK booed when FBK Spurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Lindseth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Fred Skåre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens Parveen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Christian Hustoft could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jim-André Nyvoll made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Sundheim BK's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Kristoffersen came free, but Jim-André Nyvoll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FBK Spurs booed when Sundheim BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jøran Christensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Christian Hustoft came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the FBK Spurs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Hustoft couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joar Rasmussen during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute Per-Kristian Høyland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Parveen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Christer Kristoffersen took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jim-André Nyvoll to make any attempt to save it. Per-Kristian Høyland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 minutes of play, Sundheim BK's Per-Kristian Høyland made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens Parveen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in FBK Spurs's zone, Fred Skåre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Parveen came out of the goal and Fred Skåre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FBK Spurs's Jens Parveen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Kristian Høyland in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christer Kristoffersen was the one to do the kick off. FBK Spurs's Jens Parveen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save FBK Spurs from getting a goal against them. If Per-Kristian Høyland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Kristoffersen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jim-André Nyvoll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes, Sundheim BK's Torgeir Kvernberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens Parveen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sundheim BK reached it. Per-Kristian Høyland might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens Parveen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per-Kristian Høyland ran back to his position shaking his head. After 86th play minutes Per-Kristian Høyland shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Jens Parveen and just under the crossbar into goal. Fred Skåre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jens Parveen made a huge save. Gaute Aarseth's late challenge caught a Sundheim BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaute Aarseth helped the player get up and apologised. Gaute Aarseth hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Sundheim BK's Jim-André Nyvoll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Hustoft in the 94th minute of play.
