In the 3rd minute of the match Torvald Hasund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tor-Ivar Fagervik skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Snildal's zone, Jan Petersen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesper Carlson came out of the goal and Jan Petersen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roy Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor-Ivar Fagervik having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Snildal's Dag Grotle got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 24 minutes of play, Snildal's Håkon Søbstad made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tor-Ivar Fagervik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sæter's Tor-Ivar Fagervik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkon Søbstad in the 27th minute of play. Roy Lind struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tor-Ivar Fagervik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Snildal. Snildal's Håkon Søbstad got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 minutes of play, Snildal's Roy Lind made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tor-Ivar Fagervik was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Håkon Søbstad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jesper Carlson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Petersen in the 54th minute of the match. Jan Petersen struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jesper Carlson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sæter. 56 minutes into the game, Dan Aurstad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Snildal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sæter the free kick. Dan Aurstad kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Snildal's Jesper Carlson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Petersen in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Snildal's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Fauske came free, but Jesper Carlson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Sæter's Philip Fauske made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesper Carlson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Snildal's Roy Lind was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 81st minute, Ingar Karlson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, Sæter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Stenseth to maneuver through the defense. Roy Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tor-Ivar Fagervik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
