In the 25th minute Håkon Søbstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Parveen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Christian Hustoft made a precise shot to the right of Jesper Carlson. Snildal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Jens Parveen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Grotle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christer Kristoffersen to strike the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christer Kristoffersen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 62nd minute Christer Kristoffersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Carlson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dag Grotle hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Gaute Aarseth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
