Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Verner Hernæs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Verner Hernæs scored 0-3 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stian Svardal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute Jarle Skinnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stian Svardal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Jonas Knoph hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Åboren IF were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Eggjareir BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eivind Grov took the corner. After taking down the ball on Åboren IF's corner Eivind Grov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stian Svardal quite easily take care of the ball. Eirik Haugvaldstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Stenersen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Dag Furuli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Eivind Grov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eirik Haugvaldstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Furuli having to interfere. Verner Hernæs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Stenersen made a kick off. When Verner Hernæs came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Åboren IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Verner Hernæs couldn't finish the play. Stian Svardal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Hernæs in the 53rd minute of the match. If Eirik Haugvaldstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Eggjareir BF's zone, Jarle Skinnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stian Svardal came out of the goal and Jarle Skinnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Eggjareir BF's Stian Svardal got control of the ball when Jarle Skinnes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Verner Hernæs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stian Svardal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Åboren IF's Tor-Egil Husa got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes into the match, Jarle Skinnes notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Eggjareir BF's Stian Svardal. Stian Svardal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stian Svardal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verner Hernæs, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Jarle Skinnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 87 in the game by Jarle Skinnes from a close distance when the talented Stian Svardal managed to make a qualified save. Eggjareir BF's players were relieved. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Åboren IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
