Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Brekka BK's Sture Ørmen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Brekka BK's Eivind Vogt got control of the ball when Jan-Arne Sleire tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gullor's Christian Løge slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eivind Vogt. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Christian Løge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eivind Vogt having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Gullor got a freekick which was hit by Odd-Eirik Johansson. When Brekka BK's Sture Ørmen in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gullor's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Gullor getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Kenneth Sætra hit a great ball. Jon-Arne Valde didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brekka BK's Sture Ørmen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 39 minutes of play, Brekka BK's John-Einar Frøiland made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jon-Arne Valde was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the game, Gullor's Jan-Arne Sleire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eivind Vogt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Løge was the one to do the kick off. When Odd-Eirik Johansson fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gullor's protests and gave Odd-Eirik Johansson a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Gullor got a freekick which was hit by Odd-Eirik Johansson. The audience was convinced that Sture Ørmen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon-Arne Valde was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Hauk Storm hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Gullor's Kenneth Sætra tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. John-Einar Frøiland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jon-Arne Valde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Brekka BK's Sture Ørmen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon-Arne Valde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If John-Einar Frøiland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, Gullor's goal looked a bit too open when Sture Ørmen came free, but Jon-Arne Valde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon-Arne Valde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sture Ørmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eivind Vogt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Arne Sleire in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Sture Ørmen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brekka BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sture Ørmen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon-Arne Valde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gullor's Jon-Arne Valde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Gullor from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute of the match, August Systad got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jon-Arne Valde was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Brekka BK's John-Einar Frøiland got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
