Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) With an all-out effort, Sagvåg FF's Aksel Hojem threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Morten Toresen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kristiansund IF's Aksel Hojem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Kristiansund IF from getting a goal against them. Kristiansund IF's Aksel Hojem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morten Toresen in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Kristiansund IF's Isak Hystad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frode Lervåg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Isak Hystad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Kristiansund IF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Martin Fjellstad hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Kristiansund IF's Christer Myklebust got a free kick in the 16th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Sagvåg FF's Sander Kvernmo tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Filip Løver struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Frode Lervåg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kristiansund IF. Aksel Hojem made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Nils Marthinussen sent off a good shot on target. Kristiansund IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Nils Marthinussen scored to the left of an out of position Aksel Hojem, making the score, 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Kristiansund IF's goal looked a bit too open when Morten Toresen came free, but Aksel Hojem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frode Lervåg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Hystad, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Sagvåg FF's Nils Marthinussen got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frode Lervåg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Hystad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Morten Toresen was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morten Toresen in the 52nd minute of play forced Kristiansund IF's goalkeeper Aksel Hojem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Myklebust's late challenge caught a Sagvåg FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Myklebust helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Christer Myklebust hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morten Toresen in the 55th minute of play forced Kristiansund IF's goalkeeper Aksel Hojem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Marthinussen struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Aksel Hojem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sagvåg FF. If Morten Toresen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Løver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Frode Lervåg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morten Toresen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 minutes, Isak Hystad made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Sagvåg FF's Frode Lervåg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th match minute, Kristiansund IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Våge to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Sagvåg FF's Sander Kvernmo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Nils Marthinussen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kristiansund IF's Aksel Hojem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Kristiansund IF's Christian Solem got a free kick in the 91st minute. Aksel Hojem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morten Toresen in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Kristiansund IF's Filip Løver made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frode Lervåg was left in no man's land by his defense there!
