In the 12th minute, Filip Løver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aksel Hojem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigve Nornes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tor-Andre Runde's late challenge caught a Kristiansund IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tor-Andre Runde helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fiskefjord BF's Tor-Andre Runde got a free kick in the 28th minute. Filip Løver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Kirknes having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Torbjørn Grande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kristiansund IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fiskefjord BF the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Kristiansund IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fiskefjord BF:s goal. When the final whistle sounded Fiskefjord BF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kristiansund IF.
