Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonathan Alnæs started the match with the kick off. Eric Myre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jo Idsø. Birkjeland's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Jonathan Alnæs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jo Idsø was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Birkjeland getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Henrik Christiansen hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Einar Olstad in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jo Idsø prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Birkjeland's Jan-Aage Willumsen threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Steffensen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonathan Alnæs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Kim Stavem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Anders Rødland came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Birkjeland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Rødland couldn't finish the play. After 32 minutes of play, Rambø BK's Jonathan Alnæs made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jo Idsø was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kim Stavem's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan-Aage Willumsen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jan-Aage Willumsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Steffensen, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Killi during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Birkjeland! The referee gave Rambø BK a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eric Myre, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Birkjeland's Jo Idsø. 0-3. If Einar Olstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, Birkjeland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Christiansen to maneuver through the defense. Jo Idsø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Olstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Steffensen was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th match minute, Birkjeland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Steffensen to maneuver through the defense. If Einar Olstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Rambø BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor-Ivar Lyngstad to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes Birkjeland got a freekick which was hit by Gard Skagen. Einar Olstad succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Daniel Steffensen might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Aage Willumsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Steffensen ran back to his position shaking his head. Kim Stavem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Killi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan-Aage Willumsen. Rambø BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jan-Aage Willumsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gard Skagen in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Stavem in the 91st minute of play forced Rambø BK's goalkeeper Jan-Aage Willumsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell Røhne's late challenge caught a Rambø BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell Røhne helped the player get up and apologised. Kjell Røhne kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Einar Olstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Idsø having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rambø BK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
