Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Halvor Hoem made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Håvard Østvang shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dagfinn Rosnes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 4th minute, Finn-Christian Bjerknes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torgeir Bjørsvik hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Halvor Hoem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Christian Aandal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Halvor Hoem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Aandal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jan-Aage Hodneland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes of play, Mattisnes's Daniel Alvheim made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dagfinn Rosnes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ingvar Skjerve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dagfinn Rosnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Alvheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Alvheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dagfinn Rosnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Storhamar's zone, Daniel Alvheim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagfinn Rosnes came out of the goal and Daniel Alvheim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Daniel Alvheim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagfinn Rosnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Mattisnes's corner Torgeir Bjørsvik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dagfinn Rosnes quite easily take care of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Skjerve made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halvor Hoem in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Aandal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dagfinn Rosnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Skjerve in the 58th minute of play. Dagfinn Rosnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Skjerve in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Storhamar's goalkeeper Dagfinn Rosnes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Alvheim. Dagfinn Rosnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Skjerve in the 66th minute of play. Storhamar's Jan-Aage Hodneland got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Mattisnes defense, Halvor Hoem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Aandal. The Mattisnes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Aandal should have stopped the shot. Storhamar's Halvor Hoem got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Joachim Haaland fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Storhamar's protests and gave Joachim Haaland a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mattisnes booed when Storhamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Haaland didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Alvheim got free with Dagfinn Rosnes in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
