Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Halvor Hoem started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Runar Walle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rune Otterlei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Aage Hodneland in the 5th minute of the match. Kenneth Ulvik's late challenge caught a Storhamar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenneth Ulvik helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Storhamar booed when Follaug BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Ulvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Storhamar getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Finn-Christian Bjerknes hit a great ball. Alfred Bjørk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Dagfinn Rosnes made a huge save. Finn-Christian Bjerknes hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Halvor Hoem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rune Otterlei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Aage Hodneland, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 25 minutes of play, Storhamar's Jan-Aage Hodneland made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rune Otterlei was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute Bjarte Løken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagfinn Rosnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halvor Hoem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Otterlei having to interfere. Jan-Aage Hodneland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bjarte Løken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dagfinn Rosnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Halvor Hoem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars-Olav Storebø kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Halvor Hoem struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Rune Otterlei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Storhamar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bjarte Løken was the one to do the kick off. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 53rd minute, but Rune Otterlei got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Follaug BK hanging dry this time. Rune Otterlei made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jan-Aage Hodneland sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Aage Hodneland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Halvor Hoem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Kenneth Ulvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Aage Hodneland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rune Otterlei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Bjarte Løken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dagfinn Rosnes. Storhamar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bjarte Løken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Storhamar booed when Follaug BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Ulvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Storhamar's Glenn Rydningen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rune Otterlei but with some difficulty. In the 88th minute Halvor Hoem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Otterlei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Aage Hodneland in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rune Otterlei, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Jan-Aage Hodneland came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Storhamar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Aage Hodneland couldn't finish the play. Follaug BK's Alfred Bjørk got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bjarte Løken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
