When Arnstein Sivertsen fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dyrud IF's protests and gave Arnstein Sivertsen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dyrud IF getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Arnstein Sivertsen hit a great ball. Christian Norland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cent Ngo in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Cent Ngo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flesberg BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cent Ngo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Norland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ove Petterson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Flesberg BK's Nils-Arne Svarstad got a free kick in the 21st minute. Nils-Arne Svarstad kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Sjur Malmedal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dyrud IF booed when Flesberg BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Arne Svarstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dyrud IF's Christian Norland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cent Ngo in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Dyrud IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arild Reppe to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Arild Reppe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim-André Solli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Arne Svarstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ove Petterson struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Christian Norland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flesberg BK. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Sjur Malmedal made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Arild Reppe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dyrud IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arild Reppe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sjur Malmedal in the 60th minute of play forced Flesberg BK's goalkeeper Kim-André Solli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Daniel Rusten fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dyrud IF's protests and gave Daniel Rusten a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Rusten hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Cent Ngo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Christian Norland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Christian Melvold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Norland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cent Ngo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Nils-Arne Svarstad kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Kim-André Solli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sjur Malmedal in the 95th minute of the match. When Christian Melvold fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dyrud IF's protests and gave Christian Melvold a yellow card for diving instead. Ove Petterson struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Christian Norland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flesberg BK.
