Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jon-Arne Ytterstad took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Trygve Risberg came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Kanebogen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trygve Risberg couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Kanebogen booed when Rudsgrend BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Øivind Høgberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Jon-Arne Ytterstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Heggset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Isak Egge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dag Alver charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dag Alver the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Rudsgrend BF got a freekick which was hit by Dag Alver. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon-Arne Ytterstad in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jo Heggset prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Øivind Høgberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isak Egge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Heggset having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Jon-Arne Ytterstad rounded Rudsgrend BF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After having played for 41 minutes, Jon-Arne Ytterstad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kanebogen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon-Arne Ytterstad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Rudsgrend BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Førre to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Jo Heggset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Egge, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
